I grew up outside Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Colorado - love it!

I am an avid postcard collector. I attend local meetings and participate in the Children's Hospital Postcard Project twice a year. I prefer postcards that are blank and in an envelope.

Please protect the postcard to avoid bent corners.

Likes - Cities single view, Civil War/Revolutionary War, Edition Tausendschön, Inge Löök, Ladybugs, Lantern Press, Large Letter with images inside each letter, Linen vintage, Lou Paper, Map or map shape cards, Maxi cards, Patriotic themes, Pcs with cutouts, Pinecones, Postallove State and Country cards, Postcrossing meetup, The Writerie, Scooby-Doo, Sewing notions, Snowmen, Statue of Liberty, Trains, and U.S. Presidents - (Jefferson, Lincoln, and Washington).

I'm not into homemade postcards, ATCs, bits of paper, tea, coffee, kawaii, or kids' stickers. I do not save Postcards with bent corners or pass them to others. I especially dislike the cheap 32-piece Vintage Travel Sights Landscape Retro Postcards from AliExpress or a similar site (smaller cards without a description on the back). The back is a sepia tone with just boxes on the top left.

I am excited to send and receive surprises. I appreciate the speedy registration of the surprises that I send. Knowing the envelope is not lost in the mail would be nice.

Please place a note somewhere outside and inside stating that your surprise for me is from 'You've Got Mail' or 'Surprises in the Mailbox,' along with its country and number. This helps me identify the different groups from which I receive mail. I want to respond to the right website. Please put your name so I can adequately thank you.

When you send postcards, please protect them to prevent damage to the corners.
