I grew up outside Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Colorado - love it!

I have been collecting whales (mostly Humpback) for over 40 years. I am an avid postcard collector, attend local meetings, and participate in the Children's Postcard Project twice a year. I prefer postcards blank and in an envelope - I prefer 4x6 or smaller postcards, larger ones are difficult to file and store.

Please protect the cards to avoid bent corners.

Mt Rushmore in South Dakota is my favorite place to visit. Since 1963 it has been the most visited spot ever for me and I find something new each time. I have three 4" binders for postcards of "My Men!" and find more new to me all the time. Since recent construction, there will be new Avenue of the Flags postcards soon.

I am starting my first Frankendeck Playing card deck. I am looking for poker-size playing card singles that are 2.5" x 3.5" other than the blue or red bicycle-style designs.

Likes - Butterflies, Civil War/Revolutionary War, Dachshunds, Dragonflies, Edition Tausendschön, Germany, Ladybugs, Lantern Press, Large Letter with images inside each letter, Lou Paper, Machine Embroidery, Map cards, Mount Rushmore, Owls, Patriotic themes, Pinecones, Scooby-Doo, Sewing notions, Snowmen, Statue of Liberty, Switzerland, Trains, US Presidents - (Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington) and Humpback Whales,

Dislikes or not into-- ATCs, bits of paper, tea, coffee, kawaii, or kids stickers. I do not save Postcards with bent corners or pass them to others. I especially do not like the cheap sepia 32-pcs Vintage Travel Sights Landscape Retro Postcards from Ali-Express (smaller cards without description on the back. The back is a sepia tone with just boxes on the top left.)

I look forward to sending and receiving surprises!! I appreciate the speedy register of surprises that I send. Nice to know the envelope is not lost in the mail.
