I’m 46. I am now a disabled LPN, of 25 years. I have 2, almost both adult kids, and a husband of 23 years. I grew up in Renton, WA, and moved south a bit to Auburn, WA. I stopped drinking alcohol 8 years ago hence, I’m a sober mermaid. I share mail and mermaids on IG.

My mind never stops generating ideas.

I don’t do judgement... I’m more concerned by someone’s character than their choice of partner, faith, color, or place of origin....so on! I support human beings. I am a huge ally of the LGTBQ + and I believe love is the answer. I’m not into mixing religion and politics.

I started writing again to combat the isolation and loneliness that comes with an invisible, chronic and very painful conditions. I count my blessings and I refuse to give up even though many days I do want to. I try to live like I have little time left, not a lifetime to come. I try to love all people the way they feel they deserve, not the way others think they deserve. Bottom line is everyone should just be loved.

I collect all mermaid cards and stamps, I have over 800 mermaid cards. Even duplicates are added to my collection.

My Family heritage is Slavic and Ukrainian so I’d love any Ukrainian items. I don’t discriminate so all Slavic items are welcome. Old USSR postage.

I also collect medical/science related postcards and stamps. Nurses and Female Scientist. I love Royal Mail postcards and stamps. Royal Family related items.

I am fascinated by movie making and directing.

Only Murderers in the Building, Deadliest Catch, The Boys, Bridgerton, The Real Detectives, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, Glee, Super Store, The Knick, Black Mirror, Mind Hunters,Project Runway, Killing Fields, Monsters Inside Me, Mystery Diagnosis, pretty much anything on Discovery ID channel, Chopped. I stream Hulu and Netflix series and binge series on rainy days.

Hobbies
Collage artist and Photographer, also thrift hunting, Junk journaling, watercolor painting, drawing, collecting interesting ceramics, chalk painting furniture, writing, collecting mermaids, collecting vintage medical items, collecting, pharmacy or apothecary items, collecting vintage decor, collecting enamel pins (mail related, quotes, funny) and vinyl stickers. I take a lot of thought into everything I do. It makes me sad when people just give me a number rating and nothing else.

What inspires me
Real, human, stories, that’s what inspires me. I am generally interested in anyone who has something they want to share about themselves. Your strange coincidence, six degrees of separation, past and present colliding, I want those stories. Your triumphs and struggles and how you fight or overcame (because that matters). What is the dream you never followed? (mine is Performing Artist, novelist, doctor, interior decorator, fashion designer, comedian, ballerina)
